When I first heard about brightwheel and watch the story behind this idea, I started remembering all the small business owners that have asked me: “Luisa, is there anything out there I can use for my early care and education program where I can communicate with families, bill them, take attendance, document children’s learning and take daily notes?” My answer was: “Well, there are couple of apps you can use.” Brightwheel is a FREE all-in-one app for schools, early care education and after school programs that provides digital check-in, daily reports, assessments, paperless billing and much more. Like any new app, let’s take a look at it, see the opportunities and provide them with feedback! Remember that as early care and education professionals, we have the power to tell developers what we like, what we need and expect!
